I repair and set up guitar pedals, guitars and amps in Margate. Drop off by appointment, or post pedals and guitars to me from anywhere in the UK.

Assessment: comes off the bill if you go ahead. If you don't, or I can't fix it, it's the only labour you pay for. Parts: what they cost me plus 15%, itemised on your quote. Strings: shop price, or bring your own. Posting it back: at cost, tracked and insured. Collecting is free.

How it works
- Email me what it is and what it's doing. A photo helps.
- I reply with a price, or a price range if it needs looking at first, and a date to bring it in.
- I check it over and confirm the quote before starting. Nothing goes over the quote without your say-so.
- I tell you when it's ready. You collect and pay, or pay and I post it back.
Before you book
Try these first. If one of them sorts it, you've saved a trip.
- Dead or crackling pedal Power, cable and settings checks to rule out before booking a pedal repair.
- Guitar cutting out Checks for crackles, dropouts and dead output before you book an electronics repair.
- Amp silent or not powering up Safe checks from the outside of the amp, plus the signs that mean switch off and book a repair.
